I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your podcast! I stumbled upon it looking for a homecooking podcast. We lived in Philly for 7 years when we were homebirthing babies, in med and grad school and being young struggling-trying to be health-conscious-home-cooking-local-buying idealists 🙂 Then we moved to the middle of the Pacific ocean 9 years ago and just got to travel back to Philly in the past year. I love your soothing voices, real-life sharing, Philadelphia food and neighborhood references–really everything! I feel like you are helping me stay connected to a city that I love and feeding my passions at the same time. thank you! Listening to this episode’s convo about weight watchers, I was prompted to find your website to share a podcast that has changed my relationship to food and to many other things in my life. The name is lame, but the thought work is so powerful and dovetails into this idea of relearning to listen to our bodies and stop f*d up thinking we have about our food and bodies and bring the joy back into all of it. https://katrinaubellmd.com/hello/
the podcast is called “Weight Loss for Busy Physicians”, but is available to anyone 😉 Thanks again for your lovely work and bringing me back to Philly at least in my heart.
Hi ladies, I miss Local Mouthful and you! Hope all is well and that we can hear your lovely voices again soon.
